Believe it or not– Google removes around a million links a month. Roughly half of those links are because Microsoft reports a link as hosting copyright infringing software.
The second most reporting company is the British Phonographic Industry followed by NBCUniversal, Takedown Piracy LLC and DtecNet. Interestingly, the company with the fourth most copyrighted works is Elegant Angel, a pornography company.
As you might expect, filestube.com, torrentz.eu, and 4shared.com are the top 3 content hosts.

I'm not surprised... is this the cost of the success ?

That only goes to show how big EA has become. I, as a member of your website and fan of your films will continue to support you guys by purchasing your products. Quality should always be rewarded.

useless.
people not willing to pay won't pay if it can't be accessed for free. now they even have a huge list of sites they probably didn't know, yet.
only way to stop piracy is to either drop prices or better, offer something which can't be (easily) reproduced in a digital fashion.
as long as there's a way for a legit customer to view your products, there's a way to reproduce and share it.
entertainment/software companies have spent billions for "copyprotection", yet each and everyone failed - with some exceptions requiring online validation - within 1 month tops. use that money to cater to the people willing to spend their hard earned money on your products, don't be silly and make their experience worse than that of a pirate(i guess you know the 'pirated dvd vs bought dvd' picture?).
it's the same as with mafia vs. police, the illegal party always has more or better weapons, yet the good guys usually win by tricking them or turning them on their site. everything else is a don quichote approach.

Sadly, piracy is just one of the unfortunate drawbacks to success. Hopefully you've built up enough of a buying public that the harm that comes from digital theft can be negated to some extent. Personally, EA has earned my loyalty over the course of time as each release has consistently been worth my money. Judging by the charts on AVN and AdultDVDEmpire, I'm not alone in that regard.
On another note: I'd rather be near the top in regards to pirated content than to be a company that people won't even bother watching for free. =P

People that copy right EA material should be punished w / the total extent of the law . I never purchase illegal downloaded material . It makes it hard for you the porn studios .to produce top quality porn ; just to be downloaded by some cheap ass jerkoff ; to distribute or sell pirated content . It aint fair ; fuck porn piracy! You wanna enjoy a good porn movie ; buy it you cheap bastards ! Hope EA goes after these idiots and take their stupid asses to court.

as the commenter above said, it's better to be pirated than not. being on some tracker/list at least tells people, that there is a company they probably never heard of, maybe they'll fetch a movie and if they like it, maybe they'll pay for it sometime in the future - maybe they don't, but that's not a lost sale per se.
for most people, porn is about jerking off and there's a gazillion of free and legal movies/clips available.
if you want people's money, you've got to stand out from the jerk-off once, than delete material.
fans already know and support you and your products, but to enlarge your customer base, it's important to get noticed and people usually don't share things they find boring or unpleasing, so first of all, you should be glad for the added audience.
at best, you get more money, at worst, you don't lose a dime.

My opinion of this is that there's got to be some middle ground. If the product was more affordable (a la carte porn where you could download individual scenes for $.99- the business model of I-Tunes and Amazon in regards to MP3s; heck even $1.99 a scene) then there would be no need for piracy.
You're getting the best quality, 100% guaranteed, virus-free content directly from the Producers themselves, and I have no issue paying for what I specifically want. What I do have an issue with is paying $35 or $40 for a movie where I only care about one or maybe 2 scenes out of 5 or 6. I'm basically "subsidizing" the entire movie with my $35 even though I have no interest in the other girls.
Even a service similar to Netflix where you pay $10 or $15 a month with unlimited access to all the porn you want to watch. Of course partnerships would have to be formed with Elegant Angel and other major producers to make this viable.
All I'm saying is there's got to be a better way to increase revenue across the board. Sell a movie for $40 and sell 30,000 copies ($1.2 Million), or sell individual scenes from the movie at $1.99 a piece, and sell 10,000,000 scenes ($19.99 Million). And that's just an example. Some of your models (Remy LaCroix just to name my new favorite) could sell $5-$10 Million dollars worth of downloads alone! There's obviously the demand, and you're providing the supply. Just make the supply more affordable. Otherwise people resort to what they have to resort to, and that's usually "free".

Turn fans into investors. Every fan who downloads a movie or scene pays x amount of money for the clip + a "share" in the film's earnings. Turns every fan/"investor" into an inadvertent sales rep, cos they have an interest in seeing the film make money.
If you did it on a single-scene basis, it would also create even more incentive for individual actresses/actors to pitch their scenes.
This idea was pitched on Reddit recently for application in the music industry, I don't see why adult companies couldn't try to use a similar model.

basically ; piracy is ruining the porn industry . It seems like what the music industry went through w / all the Napster and illegal music downloading .crap ; is having the same effect with the porn industry . Unless the porn industry starts to crack down on these illegal downloading business ; its going to be a major problem in the porn industry.i dont agree W / the comments above that charging 1.99 a scene for the porn fan is a good idea . Theyre still goin to see it for free . All the porn tube sites download porn material. Illegally.and the idea that the porn model or actress is goin to earn major dollars by charging a fan for a scene is ridiculous . Porn studios pay the porn models. Not the porn fan .there wouldnt be no profit for the studio or female talent by charging that kind of money.

if you have a look at some amateur sites, people offer custom scenes as per a fans wishes, maybe that would be a way for the "pros" to gain some extra bucks.
studios must be creative, f.e. add custom unique codes to any sold discset, people can register to an account. once you've got, say, 5 codes, your entitled for a private websession with a girl/boy of your choosing.
start a crowdfunding (like kickstarter) process for fan, imagine what f.e. a scene of Lexi doing anal could raise(always provided it's something actors are up to, but only for sum x).
for sum x, people are invited and allowed to visit a filming set. to that, add sum y and get a private dinner afterwards.
you're already doing cast suggestions, request money for votes.
sell merchandise, f.e. custom signed posters, etc.
there are so many ways, you could get a fans money, but you'll have to be creative. porn fans are usually quite loyal to a girl/company and there's some money in it, but you must not forget, that it's mostly about jerking off, which can be done for free or even without visual material.

I read the reply to my suggestion for "a la carte" porn, and he's right. No matter what you charge (even $.25 a scene), people are going to download the material for free if they can. Which ultimately means this. Accept the fact that people are going to pirate the material you produce, and find another way to make revenue.
One idea that comes to mind is something that has been suggested before. Everyone would "opt-in" with their ISP. Pay a monthly "Bit Torrent fee" (for lack of a better word) that acknowledges in writing that you download copyrighted materials, but will not be sued. If even 50 Million people in the U.S. alone did this, there's $250 Million dollars in revenue a month to split up among the movie industry, music industry, and porn industry (just to name a few of the most affected industries due to piracy). Yes you could argue "why would people pay anything", but the reality is that people will pay for "peace of mind". Also, if someone downloads Elegant Angel material (for example), their IP Address and contact information could be forwarded directly to Elegant Angel. They could put together a database of information on those people, and then use that information to advertise. The mindset would be "you're not paying for our material, but maybe you'd be interested in paying for someone else's?"
Ultimately one day, everything will be internet-based only, and software will be put into place that cannot be downloaded or shared. If you want to watch Remy Lacroix in DP Fanatic 5, you have to subscribe to Elegantangel.com to do so. Until that day arrives, and DVD's are no longer sold (most of the porn pirated today is DVD rips that are then shared via Bit Torrent and other File-Sharing sites), piracy isn't going anywhere.

I forgot to mention the fee itself. In the example above, I was thinking $5 a month, but you could make it even $10 or $15 a month. That's what my thought process was too in regards to charging $1.99 for an individual scene. $1.99 is better than $0, and I'm sure you'd get quite a few people (myself included) willing to pay an affordable price to watch Riley Reid, Remy LaCroix, and others perform.

Stiil waiting for my porn Netflix. 7/9 dollars/month and all u can eat from the producers (Elegant, Evil, Vivid, Wicked and euro Private, french and italian).
Why does not industry get together for something like this?
If u can have this with mainstream, much expensive production movies, why not with adult line?
