COMPARED TO WHAT I SAID IN THE LAST POST, CELESTE STAR SHOULD NO WAY BE THIS HIGH! AND MANY OTHERS, CHARLEY CHASE AND JENNA PRESLEY, SHYLA STYLEZ, NO WAY THEY RANK THIS HIGH!

Jesse Jane and Riley Steele ? WTh ! Who voted for them ? I've never seen a scene of any either of them for EA. Theyre Digital playground contract girls .are you kidding me Riley ahead of Jenna Presley;shyla stylez.; and Bibi jones just quit porn .don't have nothing against Jenna and Tera Patrick;theyre both legendary porn stars. And no love for Brianna Love ? I know she's been out ofthe business; for quite some time but ;she was Buttwoman ; and she shot a lot of scenes for EA. Hope the legendary squirter ; Flower Tucci is ranked higher .

How can any of these girls be higher than Jenna Jameson??
She's one of the reasons Porn is so mainstream. Plus she was smoking hot and nasty pre-gonzo days.
Disappointing list already.

Why are people angry about some inclusions? Did people not bother to read the rules, where it said you could vote for girls who hadn't shot for EA, and how were people who voted a month ago supposed to know BiBi Jones was going to retire? I imagine we'll probably see Remy later on in the list for the same reason.
P.S. That pic of Jenna Presley reinforces the need for her to come to BWA.

I'm pretty disappointed with the results to this point. I realize opinions differ, but some of these girls aren't sexy at all. And when you're talking about the sexiest pornstars *ever*, I really wouldn't expect to see girls who have mostly done softcore g/g porn, and no b/g scenes at all.
I don't think Jenna Presley was on last year's list, so I'm happy to see her make a good entrance on this year's countdown. But Shyla Stylez dropping from 25th place to 64th? Briana Love falling from 10th to 59th? In one year?
There are some relative newbies on this list too. Nothing against them or anything, I happen to like several of them. But there are also some of EA's biggest and *current* stars that didn't even break into the top 50.
I guess the point I'm making is that despite the better restrictions on this year's voting (10 names max, only 1 submission per IP), this list has clearly been tainted by over zealous fans of individual - perhaps even niche - performers. There are too many idiots voting for the same performer ten times, submitting revised lists, submitting the same lists under different usernames, etc.
Aside from the morons though, clearly part of the problem is with the words "sexiest" and "ever." I don't think anyone can regulate voting for sexy girls only, but maybe EA could spell it out little more for guys who are only interested in anal insertions as an olympic sport. And it might be worth restricting voting to the last decade, or the 2000's only or something.
Finally, forget voting both by e-mail and blog format. Make it a web form consisting of ten blanks and then disqualify multiple submissions from the same IP. This should keep the votes fair and representative of the majority of the fans.

I can't understand how some of these girls are this far from their rightful places, some of then are pure Top 10, how can this happen?!
Well, it is democracy, what the votes brought, so I guess I have to accept that.

anyone else get the feeling number 1 will be either asa akira or remy lacroix?!

EA definitely should cast Angell Summers in your movies.

*Obligatory comment complaining about rankings*

Damn,I wish people would stop voting for retired pornstars! I hope they don't count the retired ones next time.

Okay, I goofed. A little bit.
When, in my previous post, I questioned how much some stars' rankings had changed in only one year, it seems I was comparing them to the 2010 results, not 2011. In the original voting announcement, EA provided links both to the 2010 and 2011 results, and I clicked the wrong one when I went to compare year-over-year standings.
So Gianna Michaels was #9 in 2010, but fell to 29th in 2011, and remained almost unchanged this year at #30. I think her 9th place finish was around the time of her long-anticipated anal scene in BWA, so maybe landing in the Top 10 wasn't destined to last anyway. Her biggest change was actually last year after she (kinda, sorta, not really, but for all intents & purposes) retired following her BWA appearance. The fact that she hung in there at #30 this year is a testament to how much she belongs on this list.
Brianna Love was #10 in 2010, but fell to 31st last year, and fell by almost as much this year to #59. I still think this is a remarkable plummet (and on a personal note, I regard her as one of the sexiest bitches ever, not just in porn), but hey, them's the breaks, right? Especially after retiring, which, contrary to a recent post, should in no way exclude performers from being included on this list, which is, after all, a list of the sexiest pornstars EVER, not simply the sexiest today or last week. Still, being out of the spotlight for a while will cause one's star to fade, even with an awe-inspriring ass like Brianna's.
And although I didn't specifically name any of the relative "newbies" whose placement in this year's 100 I regarded as somewhat hinky, Bibi Jones, who entered the Top 100 last year at a respectable #73, improved to #53 this year. So I can't exactly say her finishing ahead of some current and perennial EA favorites is undeserved or entirely the result of voting anomalies. (For the record, she's one of the newbies I like, I just didn't realize how popular she was. We'll have to see where she falls to next year, though, considering that she, too, just retired.)
I still think the voting methods could be tightened up, though. Despite the ones I was mistaken about, there are still some very surprising finishes:
-Jenna Presley, who was not among the 100 sexiest in 2010 voting at all, *was* on the 2011 list at #12, but fell to #67 this year (talk about your Yo-Yo effect).
-Bree Olson placed 12th in 2010 voting, fell to 18th in 2011, and dropped to #98 this year. Bree has more Twitter followers than any pornstar other than Jenna Jameson! Could she really have dropped this much?
-Jenna Haze & Lisa Ann, both of whom placed in the single digits two years' running, and Sasha Grey, who placed 11th two years ago and 9th last year, didn't even make it into the Top 20 this year. True, two of them retired, but Lisa Ann is still going strong and is hotter than lava right now.
-And Gracie Glam & Rachel Starr, who admittedly weren't the highest finishers in 2010 but were 4th and 5th respectively last year, came in at #21 and #29 this year. Gracie is currently on hiatus, but that is a *very* recent development following some super hot performances in Lust, BWA and elsewhere. Rachel's visibility has significantly diminished since working exclusively for one company, and has yet to follow up her Badass performance with another anal scene (although she promises to soon, once her contract is up), but is she any less sexy this year than last?
So I still contend that the best way to make these results truly representative of fan opinion is to do away with voting by e-mail altogether, and instead of allowing submissions in a blog-like format, create a web form consisting of ten blanks and disqualify multiple submissions from unique IP's. I don't know what EA received via e-mail, but looking over the blogged voting, some guys submitted lists of 100 names "in no particular order," as though the ones who came after #10 on their lists would somehow have an equal chance of winning. Some guys even followed these lists with posts of *another* 100 names, or tried to submit changes to their previous lists. I sincerely hope these peoples' entries were excluded altogether
One thing I suppose I didn't blame some of this year's results on is just how fickle we fans are. True, there are zealots out there, as well as more than a few idiots who don't understand concepts like "10 names only," and some guys clearly have no idea what the word 'sexy' means. But the reality is that porn is very much a "who's hot right now" type of industry. Most consumer industries are, but in porn, where a guy's interest doesn't last much longer than his erection, fan-devotion can be extremely fleeting. It's in our biology. Whoever catches our eye this week might make our list, but other than a few longtime favorites, we would all end up submitting two completely different lists on different days. And does anyone have any idea just how many "pornstars" are out there right now and how many there have been? With rare exceptions, 15 minutes of fame is more like 15 seconds in the porn universe, especially in the digital age.
Add to this the fact that the voting demographic probably changes drastically in the course of one year, and you're bound to have wildly different results. I go through phases myself, where I'll buy and watch a lot of porn for a while, and then go without for a while as I pursue other interests (e.g., real women, or even other adult entertainment like amateur webcams, not the mainstream stuff).
Plus, production companies come and go, but since 2009 a ton of them have gone under, and membership sites are usually short-lived. When you consider the fact that porn media also continues to evolve (VHS-->DVD-->Streaming/On Demand-->Interactive, etc.), and a lot of fan exposure to pornstars these days is through social media, it's pretty apparent that there are a lot of new and different fans voting for a lot of new and different pornstars working for a lot of new and different companies who promote and deliver their products through a lot of new and different means. I imagine that practically the entire industry turns over every year...fans, stars, everything.
And yet, as sobering as this is, it's all the more reason to expect that the truly sexy & successful stars, who work in this industry for several years for established and highly reputable companies that are able to adapt to changes in their fan-base and the various types of media used to deliver their products, should remain fairly or somewhat consistent on lists like the Sexiest 100. EA, let's try to make sure that voting methods ensure this result, shall we?
My profound apologies for this verbose and entirely uninvited glimpse into my characteristically over-thought opinions on this topic. I commend anyone who made it past the 1st or 2nd paragraph of this diatribe.
